We recognize that all of our journeys to the Lord begin at very different places and so we want Westminster to be a place of safety and rest for you.  Many times our stories include pain and shame.  God does not expect us to clean up our act before coming to Him.  In fact, God meets us in our mess and there transforms us with His grace and love.  We want to be a church that God uses in fulfilling His purposes in each of our lives.

  • Dress: On any given Sunday you will find people in casual attire such as jeans and button-down shirt or in a suit or dress clothes. We are going to leave how you dress between you and the Lord, as we know that God looks at the heart and not the outside of a person.  So, come as you are.
  • Giving: Though we believe that God calls believers to give to the Lord as a biblical practice, we want our focus to be on the Lord as we worship and so we do not pass an offering plate, but instead provide a Tithes and Offerings box in the back of the sanctuary by the main doors if you choose to give. No one in our church knows what another gives as that is between them and the Lord. In our service we give thanks for the offerings that have been given each Sunday and ask the Lord to give us wisdom as we seek to build His kingdom with the use of those offerings.
  • Safety:  We recognize that we live in dangerous times and so we have done all we can to ensure your and your children’s safety while at church or church events.  All our church leaders, teachers, nursery staff and children and youth workers have undergone a state and national background check.  We do our best to insure that children are always in the company of two or more adults during programs.  We also have cameras in the the main rooms and halls throughout our church.
